I suspect its mostly the Asian buyers that have shipping containers over here, with maybe a domestic buyer or two. I sold a Fisher amp recently and it went to a shipping company on the west coast in the name of a Korean buyer.

He's very opinionated but I understand what he's saying--to really do justice to rock and roll with these you'd probably want to add a sub woofer and tweeters. I don't necessarily (fully) agree with his statement because you could say the same about "modern" recordings of jazz and classical--a sub woofer and tweeters would help with those too.....

Obviously English isn't his first language i don't think... Just plain stupid IMO to start the auction that high... It's the bidding war you want.If they sell there will be only 1 bidder me thinks..
